Madam Karen is a highly accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in both commercial airlines and cabin crew training. She began her career with Malaysia Airlines, where she served for nine and a half years and was trained across multiple aircraft types including the F-27, B737, A300, DC10, B747 and B777. During her tenure, she rose to the position of Leading Stewardess, upholding exceptional service, safety standards and leadership qualities.
In 1995, Madam Karen joined British Airways and was promoted to Senior Cabin Crew. In this role, she managed a full team of Kuala Lumpur–based cabin crew, coordinated flight schedules, oversaw the British Airways KL Cabin Crew Office, and served as a key liaison with the BA Headquarters in London.
With her strong aviation background, Madam Karen joined Inter Excel in 2009. She is a certified Train-the-Trainer (TTT) professional, and her primary training areas include airline interview processes and requirements, in-flight announcements, public speaking, presentation skills, grooming standards, and professional etiquette.
She carries out scenario-based training, mock interviews, assessments, and detailed individual feedback to ensure every student builds the confidence and competency required in the aviation industry. Her meticulous approach, supportive coaching style, and strong industry insights have helped hundreds of students successfully join both international and domestic airlines as well as other aviation-related sectors.
Madam Karen is widely respected for her immaculate grooming, professionalism, and dedication to her craft. Her passion for training continues to inspire the next generation of cabin crew professionals.
